Branding is when you identify yourself/business by what you do but in terms of why you do it, and who for, and your uniqueness. It’s a vision you have of yourself/business and the values that you/business stand for.
Your Personal brand is who you are and what you stand for. It is what makes you an expert and defines your strengths and skills. Your personal brand is defined by how authentic you are and how you appear to the world.
Your Biz brand is what your business is all about. Who you serve, how you package your expertise and what results you bring your ideal client. It’s the relationships you build and the strategies you have for building a thriving and successful business.
- Capture their feelings and emotions with your images, colors, and copy.
- Be authentic in your writing and the way you portray yourself. Don’t be someone your not. Be yourself and you’ll connect with your audience plus you’ll build the ‘like, trust and know factor’.
- Make your content relevant to your ideal audience. You can’t write about making cocktails one day and then write about how to create a website using SquareSpace. It all has to be relevant to your niche.
- Your brand should tell a story. This means when someone sees a photo on your Instagram or you’re doing a Snapchat, your content needs to tell a story that your audience can relate to.
